500ml LKK PREMIUM SOY SAUCE
Ginger, sliced (3-4 slices)
2 tsp LKK MINCED GARLIC
4 Star Anise
255g LKK PANDA OYSTER SAUCE
1/2 cup Honey
to serve GOLDEN PHOENIX JASMINE RICE
to serve Steamed greens
1. Place chicken in a bowl of salted water and allow to stand 20 minutes.
2. Remove chicken and place in a deep sauce pan with soy sauce , water , garlic , ginger and star anise. Simmer gently 40 minutes covered.
3. Remove chicken from saucepan and place on a rack in a large baking pan and brush the combined honey and oyster sauce over the chicken liberally. Bake in the pre-heated oven 190c 30 minutes basting frequently.
4. Serve chicken cut into pieces with steamed rice and green vegetables.
