Directions

For the Sauce

1. Bring cooking sake to the boil. Remove from heat and add remaining sauce ingredients. Whisk well, set aside.
2. Sprinkle beef with pepper. Heat oil in frying pan over high heat, brown both sides of beef. Add 5 tbsp sauce, toss well and remove from heat.
3. Arrange beef over rice, top with remaining sauce, garnish with spring onions.
