Goji Berry

Goji Berry is the fruit of a shrub native to China. Often called wolfberry, the fruit is bright orangish-red in colour and ellipsoid, about 1–2 cm in diameter. The number of seeds vary in each berry, depending on the size of fruit and the variety. Goji berries are a rich source of zeaxanthin. They are eaten raw, cooked, or dried and are used in juices, wines, medicines and Chinese herbal soups and teas. The berries are often added to rice congee and served with almond jelly.
