To Prep
- In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, black pepper and oil. Add in cubed beef and stir through well. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to marinate in the fridge for 2 hrs.
- Combine ingredients for lime dipping sauce in a small mixing bowl. Set aside.
To Cook
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large pan over high heat. Add marinated beef in batches, making sure not to crowd pan. Cook 1 min each side, or until nicely seared and cooked until desired doneness. Remove beef from heat.
- Add butter, garlic, shallot and spring onions into the pan, stir everything together and cook until vegetables got soften, about 30 seconds. Stir through beef, then remove from heat. Transfer to a serving plate and serve immediately with lime dipping sauce. Serve on a bed of tomato slices with salad.
