To Make
- Whisk together marinade sauce consisting of soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, lime juice, ginger, and garlic. Add shallots in.
- Wash mushrooms and marinade in sealed container for minimum 3hrs (it’s important to marinate for the recommended time to infuse flavour).
- After marinating, dip and coat the mushrooms in the beaten egg.
- Roll mushrooms on a plate with mixed panko crumbs and sesame seeds, coating generously.
- In small saucepan heat enough oil for shallow deep frying.
- Toss and fry the mushrooms in oil for approx 8-10 mins until golden brown and soft enough to eat.
- Allow to cool, enjoy
