Directions
To Prep
- Combine the char siu sauce, garlic, soy sauce and oyster sauce in a large non-metallic bowl and mix well.
- Add the pork belly strips and marinate for min. 4 hours or overnight.
To Cook
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking dish and set aside.
- Place belly strips on the bake in the oven for 35 mins turning and basting frequently with remaining marinade.
- When pork is nearly cooked, glaze with honey.
- Remove from oven and allow to rest before slicing. Serve over steamed snow peas.

Best recipe with having to use less ingredients for!
Used the following ingredients for my pork belly, separated the pork into 6 pieces, left to marinade for 4hrs then had cooked only 2 but left the rest for more marinading time, left the skin on but had scored the skin in 10mm squares for it to caramelize, and it was just unbelievably tasty for such little time needed to cook through.
