Directions
To make
- Place cabbage, carrot and onion in a mixing bowl. Massage the vegetables for 5 seconds.
- Add in spring onion, egg, salt and pepper and mix together.
- Heat a large frying pan with some butter. Pour the vegetable mixture in and cook using a spatula to shape it into the size of the bread slices. Cook each side for 3-4 minutes over low heat until brown.
- Add more butter on the empty side of the frying pan and toast the bread slices until brown on both sides.
- Place the cooked vegetable patty on top of a slice of bread.
- Spoon sugar over the surface of the patty.
- Squeeze tomato ketchup over before covering with the other slice of toasted bread slice.
- Serve hot.
