Directions
To Make
- Place all the main ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix until everything is well incorporated.
- Divide into two equal portions and shape them into thick round patties. Lay them on a grease proof paper.
- Heat up 1 tbsp of oil and fry the patties. Give a few gentle presses to flatten them. Cook both sides until browned. Use kitchen tongs to help hold up to cook the sides. This will take about 12-15 mins on medium heat. Remove and set aside.
- Using the same pan, scrape away any meat or protein residuals from the pan and leave the oil or fats. Pour the sauce mix in and cook until it starts bubbling. Return the meat patties into the pan and coat them with the sauce.
- To serve, place steamed rice into a bowl, place a meat patty on top of rice then spoonful of grated white radish. Top it off with a raw egg yolk (optional).
- Serve together with some blanched broccoli florets, carrot slices and julienned capsicum.
