To Make
- Sliced beef to 4mm thick and marinate with light soy sauce, calamansi or lemon juice, brown sugar, minced garlic and pepper. Cover and marinate for 4 hours or overnight.
To Prepare Garlic Fried Rice (Sinangag)
- In a frying pan heat up with 2 tbsp cooking oil on medium heat and sauté the minced garlic till slightly brown.
- Toss in cooked rice and stir to mash with minced garlic for 4-5 mins. Season garlic rice to taste.
To Make Tapsilog
- With the same frying pan heat up 1 tbsp of with cooking oil and pan fry the beef 3-4 mins on both sides in batches until sauce thickens and set aside.
- Plate rice and beef with sunny side up egg, sliced cucumber and diced tomato.
