Marinated Chicken


Simple, easy to make, and delicious chicken! Try this Chinese recipe.

Ingredients:

750g chicken or 1kg drumsticks
3 slices ginger
2 stalks spring onions (sectioned)

Sauce mix

1 tsp Lee Kum Kee Sesame Oil
375ml Lee Kum Kee Chicken Marinade Sauce
375ml water




Steps:
  1. Saute ginger and green onion in 1 tbsp oil until fragrant. Add sauce mix and bring it to the boil.
  2. Put in chicken. Cover and cook on low heat for about 25 mins until done, turning occasionally.
  3. Turn off heat and soak for another 5 mins.
  4. Take out and cut chicken into pieces. Pour a little sauce over chicken and serve hot.
