Vietnamese-Style Braised Pork
Vietnamese-style Braised Pork - 10 tips to plan your asian meal


Braised pork recipe, made in a Vietnamese style, served with hard boiled eggs.

Ingredients:

1kg pork belly (sliced)
350ml soda water
400ml Chaokoh Coconut Juice
6 eggs (hard boiled and remove shell)

Seasoning mix

3 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic
6 tbsp Squid Fish sauce
3 tbsp ABC Sweet Soy Sauce
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp white pepper




Steps:
  1. Combine meat, soda water and coconut juice in a pot and bring to the boil. Remove any froth on the surface.
  2. Add seasoning mix, and cook for 5 mins. Reduce heat and braise for 1 hr.
  3. Add eggs, braise for 10 mins. Serve hot with steamed Jasmine rice.
