Tofu and Long Bean Stir-fry
Tofu-and-Long-Bean-Stir-Fry


This delicious Tofu and Long Bean Stir-Fry recipe will ensure everyone in the family gets their recommended daily amount of vitamins and fibre! Try this Indonesian delicacy.

Ingredients:

300g long beans (cut into 3cm lengths)
250g firm tofu (sliced into even-sized chunks (2cm)
5 garlic cloves (finely sliced)
3 shallots (sliced)
195ml vegetable oil
30ml LKK Soy Sauce
30ml oyster sauce (vegetarian available, if desired)




Steps:
  1. In a wok, deep-fry the tofu in 180ml of vegetable oil at high heat for 2-3 mins or until golden brown; set aside and allow to drain.
  2. Heat the remaining oil in a wok over high heat and stir-fry the garlic and shallots until fragrant.
  3. Add the long beans, oyster sauce and salty soy sauce and wix well. Mix in tofu and serve hot with rice.

Tip: Substitute long beans for any other vegetables you have in your fridge e.g. cauliflower, carrots and broccoli.
