Thai Prawn Salad recipe


Thai Prawn Salad recipe is fresh, zesty and quick, making it perfect for the hot summer months.

Ingredients:

1kg green prawns
4 tbsp Fresh lime or lemon juice
3 tbsp fish sauce
2 tbsp sugar
1 jar Valcom Lemongrass
½ jar Valcom Kaffir Lime Leaves
2-3 tbsp red chilli (sliced)
6 shallots (finely sliced)
1 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves




Steps:
  1. Rinse well and blanch whole green prawns in boiling water for a few minutes. Drain and peel prawns and cut half lengthwise.
  2. Combine lime juice, fish sauce and sugar together and mix with prawns.
  3. Add lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, sliced shallots and red chilli; mix well.
  4. Place this Thai Prawn Salad onto 6 serving plates and garnish with mint leaves before serving as an entree.
