Thai Lamb and Mango Salad


This is a wonderful Thai-Australian dish. Enjoy the fresh mangoes with the best Australian lamb and authentic Thai sauces. Try this Thai lamb and mango salad recipe.

Ingredients:

4 trim lamb round steaks
2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
2 tsp fish sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
4 tbsp lime juice
2 tbsp coriander or mint (chopped)
100g salad leaves
1 punnet cherry tomatoes (halved)
1 red onion (sliced)
2 fresh mangoes




Steps:
  1. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or fry pan on high. Fry lamb for 2-3 mins each side. Lamb is best cooked until pale pink so that it stays tender and moist.
  2. Remove from heat and rest in pan for 5 mins, then slice thinly.
  3. Toss the sliced lamb in a combination of sauces, oil, lime juice and coriander. Add lamb to remaining ingredients and toss.

Tip: Serve with fried cellophane noodles or crusty bread.
