Stir-fried Beef with Black Pepper and Garlic Sauce


A simple beef stir-fry flavoured with a satay sauce. Try this Chinese Stir fried beef with black pepper and garlic sauce recipe.

Ingredients:

500g rump Steak (thinly sliced)
1 tsp oil
2 tsp Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic
1 tsp ground black peppercorns
½ tsp white pepper
1 carrot (peeled and thinly sliced)
1 bunch baby bok choy (washed and halved)
½ cup Lee Kum Kee Panda Oyster Sauce
2 tsp Squid Fish Sauce
spring onions (to garnish)




Steps:
  1. Combine the sliced steak, oil, garlic paste, black peppercorns and white pepper in a small bowl and allow to marinate. (up to 24 hrs)
  2. Heat wok over a medium high heat and stir fry the beef 2-3 mins until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add the carrot and bok choy to the wok and stir fry 1-2 mins, stir in the oyster sauce and fish sauce. Return the steak to the wok and toss through.
  4. Serve hot garnished with spring onion curls.
