Try giving fresh asparagus a real lift with the distinctive flavour of XO sauce and a touch of garlic. Try this Chinese recipe.
2 bunches Asparagus, trimmed & sliced
2 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp. Lee Kum Kee XO Sauce
2 tsp Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic
1 Place asparagus in a heat-proof bowl and cover with boiling water. Allow to stand for 30 secs, then drain.
2 Heat a fry pan or wok over medium – high heat. Add oil and stir-fry asparagus, garlic and XO sauce until asparagus is just cooked. Serve at once.
Tip: For a vegetarian dish, replace the XO sauce with 3tbsp Vegetarian Stir-fry Sauce.
