Steamed Pork Omelette

This is a simple home-style Cantonese meal which involves one step in preparation and steaming. Serve with white rice and oyster sauce. It will be a favourite for kids who love eggs. Try this Chinese recipe.

Ingredients:

150g minced pork
½ cup Chicken stock
4 dried mushrooms (soaked and sliced thinly)
spring onion (cut into 1cm pieces)
4 eggs (lightly beaten)
Lee Kum Kee Panda Oyster Sauce (to taste)




Steps:
  1. Place wire rack in bottom of a deep saucepan which will fit a medium souffle dish and fill with 7.5cm of water. Bring to the boil. Use only heatproof glassware or ovenproof dish for steaming in the wok.
  2. Combine all ingredients and place in a souffle dish. Place dish in saucepan, turn down to simmer and cook for 20 mins or until just set.
  3. Serve with white rice and oyster sauce.
