This is another common dish you may see next to the char siu barbeque pork in some Chinese shop windows. It is very easy to make and you can adjust the saltiness to your liking by adding in more or less dark soy.
300g Chicken wings or drumsticks
6 tbsp Brown sugar
300ml Yeo's Dark Soy Sauce
to taste Dragon Phoenix Five spice powder
1 Combine dark soy sauce, water and brown sugar in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
2 Add in the chicken wings or drumsticks and cook on low heat for 15 mins or until chicken is ready and serve.
Hint: This recipe is delicious hot or cold. It is an ideal dish to cook ahead of party time or for picnics, or for a light summer meal.
