Sauteed Fish Fillet with Celery


Sauteed Fish with Celery is a cozy and comforting dish, which makes a perfect dinner! This is sure to satisfy your cravings for something hearty.

Ingredients:

200g white fish fillet (sliced)
pinch salt and ground pepper
1-2 tbsp corn starch to coat, plus extra ½ tsp for sauce
1 tbsp oil, plus 1 tsp extra
200g celery (sliced)
3-4 pieces sliced ginger
¼ carrot (shredded)
lily bulbs (optional)
1 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce
2-3 drops Lee Kum Kee Pure Sesame Oil
pinch of sugar




Steps:
  1. Marinate fish fillet with some salt and ground pepper for 15 mins. Coat it with corn starch, shaking off excess.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frypan over medium heat. Cook fish for 2-3 mins each side until cooked through. Set aside.
  3. Bring a saucepan of water to the boil. Add celery and blanch for 1 min or until half-cooked. Drain and set aside.
  4. Heat extra 1 tsp oil in a frypan and stir-fry ginger, celery, carrot and lily bulbs (optional) until lightly cooked.
  5. Add fish fillet, soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar and gently stir-fry. Combine ½ tsp corn starch with 2 tbsp water until you have a smooth paste. Add to pan and cook until heated through. Serve hot.

Hint: fish can be replaced with chicken or other meat.
