Pork in Fruity Plum Sauce


This unusual pork dish is sweetly flavoured with plum sauce and strawberries. Try this Chinese pork in fruity plum sauce recipe.

Ingredients:

4 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce
4 pork butterfly steaks or pork loin steaks
2 tbsp oil
2 spring onion (sliced)
120g (½ jar) Lee Kum Kee Plum Sauce
1 tsp corn flour
½ punnet strawberries, diced
¼ cup water
spring onion (sliced and to garnish)




Steps:
  1. Combine oyster sauce with pork in a bowl and set aside to marinate for 15 mins.
  2. Heat oil in a fry pan or wok over medium – high heat and cook pork until lightly browned and cooked through.
  3. Combine plum sauce and corn flour. Add to pan with spring onion, strawberries and water. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 mins.
  4. Spoon sauce over pork, scatter with spring onions and serve.
