A delicious Stir-Fried minced pork recipe with Laksa paste that has a flavourful aroma of the holy basil. Try this pork holy basil with laksa paste recipe.

Ingredients:

1 tbsp oil
500g lean pork mince
3 tbsp Valcom Laksa Paste
1 clove garlic (finely chopped)
1 long red chilli (deseeded and finely sliced)
10 snake beans (chopped in 5cm lengths)
1 red onion (thinly sliced in wedges)
225g Valcom Water Chestnuts (drained and chopped)
3 tbsp Squid Brand Fish Sauce
3 tbsp oyster sauce
1 cup holy basil (Thai Basil) leaves
lettuce cups (to serve)
fried egg (to serve)
fried shallots (for garnish)
shaved cucumber (for garnish)
coriander leaves (for garnish)




Steps:
  1. Heat oil over a high heat and brown pork mince well. Add the laksa paste, garlic and red chilli, continue to stir-fry for 2 mins.
  2. Add the snake beans, onion and water chestnuts to the wok and continue to stir-fry for 3 mins.
  3. Stir in the fish sauce and oyster sauce, stir through for 1 min.
  4. Fold through the holy basil and cook for 2 mins.
  5. Serve Holy pork in lettuce cups with steamed rice and fried egg on the side garnished with fried shallots, coriander leaves and shaved cucumber.

Notes: Chicken mince or Beef mince maybe used in place of pork
mince.
