Kecap Manis Mushrooms


A signature Indonesian dish that is stir-fried with the legendary Kecap Manis that gives the mushrooms an entirely different flavour and texture! Try this Indonesian recipe.

Ingredients:

400g large button mushrooms (sliced)
1 bunch choy sum (roughly sliced)
3 tbsp cooking oil
1 large onion (sliced)
3 fresh garlic cloves (finely chopped)
1 tbsp ABC Sweet Soy Sauce (Kecap Manis)
½ tbsp Lee Kum Kee Oyster Sauce
¼ tsp ground pepper
spring onion (chopped; for garnish)




Steps:
  1. In a fry pan, saute onions and garlic in cooking oil over high heat for 2 mins or until golden brown.
  2. Add mushrooms and choy sum; stir-fry for 2 mins. Stir in sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce and pepper.
  3. Cook till gravy thickens. Garnish with chopped spring onion and serve.
