Honey and Soy Stir-fried Rice with Tofu
Fried Rice with Tofu recipe


Make your stir-fried rice extra delicious with a sweet and savoury sauce made of Honey & Soy! Add some tofu for a healthy twist to this Chinese Recipe. Your Honey Soy stirfried rice with Tofu is ready!

Ingredients:

2 tbsp oil
1 clove garlic (crushed)
100g firm tofu (cubed)
4 spring onions (finely chopped)
1 carrot (peeled and grated)
100g can corn kernels (drained)
½ cup Lee Kum Kee Stir-Fry Essentials Oriental Honey & Soy
4 cups long grain rice (cooked)
1 egg omelette (rolled and sliced)
¼ cup fried shallots (to garnish)




Steps:
  1. Heat oil in a wok over medium heat.
  2. Stir-fry the garlic and tofu for 2-3 mins or until well browned.
  3. Add spring onions, carrot and corn, stir-fry 2 mins.
  4. Stir in Oriental Honey & Soy and mix well.
  5. Add rice and continue to stir fry 3-4 mins until sauce and rice are well combined.
  6. Add the omelettes and stir through.
  7. Serve on a large platter and garnish with fried shallots.
