A classic deluxe fried rice that is quick to prepare! The sausage and the spicy seafood sauce add a distinctive flavour to this simple Try this Chinese recipe.

Ingredients:

2 tbsp oil
1 Wing Hong Chinese Pork Sausage or 100g ham or barbequed pork (sliced)
3 dried Chinese mushrooms (soak in warm water and sliced)
1 cup sliced green beans or peas
2 eggs (beaten lightly)
3 cups cooked rice (cooled)
2 spring onions (sliced)
1 cup bean shoots
1-2 tbsp Lee Kum Kee XO Sauce




Steps:
  1. Heat a fry pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add 1 tbsp of the oil and stir-fry sausage (pork or ham) and mushrooms until fragrant, for about 3 mins. Remove from pan and set aside.
  2. Return pan to heat, add egg and cook until firm. Remove and cut into strips.
  3. Add remaining 1 tbsp oil to pan and add rice, mushrooms, green beans (or peas), spring onion, bean shoots, egg strips, Chinese sausage (ham or pork) and XO sauce. Stir until heated through, then serve at once.
