Double cooked pork recipe


Literally meaning "meat returned to pot", the double cooked pork or twice cooked pork is a well-known Sichuan-style Chinese delicacy. Try this Double cooked pork recipe!

Ingredients:

450g pork belly
1 green capsicum (cut into pieces)
1 red chilli (chopped)
2 slices ginger (sliced)
2 cloves garlic (sliced)

Seasoning mix

2½ tbsp Lee Lum Kee Chilli Bean Sauce
1 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Hoi Sin Sauce
1 tsp sugar




Steps:
  1. Cook pork belly in boiling water for about 1 hr until tender. Drain and let cool. Slice thinly.
  2. Saute ginger and garlic in 1 tbsp oil. Add in pork belly, green capsicum, red chilli and stir-fry for 1 min.
  3. Stir in seasoning mix and heat through.
  4. Serve with steamed rice.
