Inari Sushi (Deep-fried Bean Curd Pockets)
Deep Fried Bean Curd Pockets


This is a great way to use up left-over sushi rice. These make an easy nutritious lunch and you can add other ingredients such as carrot strips, avocado and bamboo shoots to the rice mixture. Try this Japanese dish.

Ingredients:

1 packet fried bean curd pockets
4 cups sushi rice (cooked)
1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds




Steps:
  1. Split the bean curd pouches, then squeeze gently to remove any excess liquid.
  2. Stuff with the sushi rice, being sure not to over-fill or they will tear. Place split side down on a plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
