Mostly everyone loves a fried snack and best of all, we can sneak in the vegetables for the kids without them noticing it. For vegetarians, omit the anchovies and this dish can be a vegetarian dish. This snack can be enjoyed as an entrée and would definitely be a party pleaser.
Cooking Time: 15mins - 30mins
Serves:3 to 4
Total time: 30mins - 60mins

Ingredients:

1 cup plain flour
2 tbsp dried anchovies
2 spring onion (sliced thinly)
½ brown onion (sliced thinly)
½ cup cabbage (cut thinly)
¼ cup carrot (shredded or cut thinly)
½ tsp salt
½ cup water
3 cups oil




Steps:

1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
2. Heat oil in a pan in a medium heat, carefully putting 1 tbsp batter each time.
3. Fry until golden brown. Set fritters aside to drain oil.
4. Serve hot with chilli sauce.
