Crunchy Pork Patties


Crunchy pork-filled patties served with sweet and sour sauce. Try this Chinese recipe.

Ingredients:

500g minced pork
300g bean curd (diced)
200g water chestnuts (mashed)
2 tbsp minced ginger
1 small onion (finely grated)
1 stem spring onion (finely grated)
100g Obento Panko Breadcrumbs

Seasoning mix

160g Yeo's Minced Prawn in Spice
2 tbsp Yeo's Sesame Oil
1 tsp chicken powder
1 tsp cooking salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp Double Phoenix Chinese Cooking Wine
2 tbsp corn flour
Lee Kum Kee Sweet and Sour sauce (for dipping)




Steps:
  1. Mix seasoning mix in a large bowl. Add in pork mince. Stir in one direction to mix well.
  2. Mix in bean curd, water chestnuts, ginger, onion and spring onion. Mix well.
  3. Form mixture into 7cm patties. Coat patties with breadcrumbs. Pan-fry until golden brown or until meat is cooked. Turn over at least once.
  4. Serve with sweet and sour sauce.
