Cantonese Soy Garlic Beef

A popular Cantonese-style beef stir-fry that mixes the distinctive flavours of soy and garlic to make an easy wok meal. Try this easy Chinese Cantonese soy garlic beef recipe !

Ingredients:

400g lean beef fillet steak (thinly sliced)
2 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Stir-Fry Essentials Cantonese Soy & Garlic
1 tbsp oil
1 clove garlic (thinly sliced)
4 spring onions (sliced diagonally)
1 bunch fresh asparagus (peeled and halved)
1 bunch broccolini (halved)
½ cup Lee Kum Kee Stir-Fry Essentials Cantonese Soy & Garlic
steamed brown and wild rice (to serve)
lime wedges (to serve)




Steps:
  1. Rub fillet steaks with oil and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a wok over medium heat and add beef and stir fry for 2 mins or until well browned. Drizzle over 2 tbsp Cantonese soy and garlic and turn steak frequently for 1 min to caramelise. Remove and set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a wok, add garlic and vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 mins.
  4. Make a well in the centre of the vegetables and pour in ½ cup Cantonese soy and garlic, stir ingredients until sauce bubbles.
  5. Return steak to wok and toss with vegetables to heat through.
  6. Serve stir-fry with steamed brown and wild rice and garnish with lime wedges.
