Braised Mushrooms and Bamboo Shoots Recipe


A delicious dish made of braised Chinese mushrooms and bamboo shoots in a thick spicy sauce! Try this Chinese recipe.

Ingredients:

150g Jade Phoenix Shiitake Mushrooms Whole
150g canned bamboo shoots (cut into pieces)
1 tsp ginger (minced)
1 tsp garlic (minced)
1 stalks spring onions (sectioned)

Seasoning mix

2 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce
½ tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce
2 tsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Dark Soy Sauce
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp cornflour
¼ tsp Lee Kum Kee Chicken Bouillon Powder
50ml water




Steps:
  1. Steam soaked Chinese mushrooms until done. Blanch bamboo shoots in boiling water for a short while.
  2. Saute minced ginger and garlic. Add seasoning mix.
  3. Add Chinese mushrooms and bamboo shoots. Cover and cook until sauce thickens. Stir in spring onion and heat through.
