Packed with authentic Asian flavour, the perfect black pepper beef recipe fillet pairs the deliciousness of juicy red capsicums and brown onions with the succulence of meat. Ingredients:

300g beef fillet (sliced)
½ green capsicum (sliced)
½ red capsicum (sliced)
½ brown onion (chopped)
3 cups uncooked jasmine rice
3 cups water (measure to the long grain water level mark)
2 tbsp black pepper

Marinade

3 tbsp Yeo's Dark Soy Sauce
3 tbsp Yeo's Light Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce
2 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp Yeo's Sesame Oil




Steps:
  1. Combine marinade ingredients, add beef and stir to coat. Set aside for 20 mins.
  2. Add rice and water to rice cooker. Fit inner lid, lock on cover and microwave on low for 10 mins, then on high for 5-7 mins.
  3. Place beef and black pepper on top of rice and microwave on high a further 5-7 mins.
  4. Place onion and red and green capsicum on top of beef and microwave oh high a further 5-7 mins.
  5. Remove from microwave, stir through and serve this black pepper beef immediately. Serves 4.
