10 Minute Chrysanthemum, Date and Goji Berry Tea

This delicious and refreshing tea is sure to brighten your days. With 3 simple and healthy ingredients, you can brew this tea in less than 10 minutes. Though, goji berries and red dates are very healthy additions to this tea, they also act as natural sweeteners.

There are quite a number of known health benefits of chrysanthemum tea, some of which are general body cooling and acne treatment. Used extensively in Chinese medicine, chrysanthemum clears heat, eliminates toxins, and is commonly used to treat sore throats and red eyes.

The Chinese wolfberry also is known as the goji berry, is one of the most nutritionally dense plants on the planet. It contains many vitamins, minerals, proteins, essential and non-essential amino acids and fats. Used as an herbal supplement for thousands of years, chrysanthemum has a balancing effect on the chi because the berry does not warm or cool. Traditional Chinese uses of the berry include improvement of eyesight, kidneys, liver, blood and lungs, prolong life.

Dates are known to reduce ageing and is perfect for fatigue, hypertension, physical exhaustion and malnutrition.

How to make Chrysanthemum, Date and Goji Berry Tea:


½ cup Chrysanthemum

½ cup Dates

½ cup Goji Berries

Honey to taste

1 litre Water


Bring 1 litre water to a boil in a pot.

Take half a cup of chrysanthemum, dates and goji berries each.

Gently rinse all the ingredients.

Add the ingredients to the pot of boiling water and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Add honey to suit your taste and serve it hot or cold.
