Top of the charts for history buffs, the Hong Kong Museum of History is 7000 square metres of research, studies, collections and exhibitions of 400 million years of history.

Thematic exhibitions are regularly held in the Hong Kong Museum of History and these are an absolute delight to the mind of the curious. The museum is located next to the Hong Kong Science Museum, in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. You can walk to it from Tsim Sha Tsui, Jordan or Tsim Sha Tsui East subway station.

The Hong Kong Museum of History is a must-visit in any traveller’s itinerary. You can get a good understanding of the city’s natural zoology, customs and history through 4000 exhibits, 750 graphic panels, dioramas and multimedia facilities. Other than the permanent exhibition, the museum often holds special exhibitions which require an extra admission fee.
