The park includes Wat Phra That Doi Suthep (a stunning Buddhist temple) and Bhubing Palace (which is the winter abode of King Bhumibol Adulyadej).
There are a myriad of activities in the park, including trekking, hiking, cave-touring, cycling, camping and bid-watching, among other interesting ones. At night, stargazing is an activity that draws considerable visitors.
