Must-eat in Thailand – Tom Kha Kai

Coconut milk is an ingredient that is commonly used in Asian cooking. It is used in a variety of dishes, both savoury and sweet. Be it rice-based dishes, or meat-based ones, or even vegetable-based delicacies, coconut milk appears time and again.

One such Thai recipe in which coconut milk is an important ingredient is Tom Kha Kai. This dish is a delicious soup which includes succulent chicken in coconut milk, sprinkled with chopped mushrooms and fresh coriander.

This dish enjoys unparalleled popularity in Thailand simply because it is that aromatic and flavourful. The star of the ingredient, however, is not, as one might think, chicken. It is the coconut milks. the creamy liquid renders this delicacy truly delectable.
