Must-eat in Thailand – Crab Curry

Curries, whether spicy, dry or mild, are best eaten in Southeast Asia. There are few restaurants in the world that can come close to imitating an authentic spicy red Thai curry. The streets of Thailand are lined with carts and stalls which plate up the best curries in the world. They are rich in aroma and flavour, and have remained the favourite of travellers for years.

Thai cuisine specialises in curries. One of its best contributions to the lunch table is crab curry. Called Boo Paht Pong Karee in Thailand, this dish is prepared with dry curry powder and fresh milk. It includes a delicious curry paste made of traditional spices and coconut milk, an essential ingredient in Thai cuisine.

Thai crab curry is a dish that’s dunked in authenticity, so you are sure to get the best of Thai cooking in this dish. It includes soy sauce, oyster sauce, white pepper, chilli paste and chopped garlic, all of which lend the delicacy great flavour. Adding egg can do wonders for the dish, too.
