Lombok Island or Islamic Lambok, is situated in the West Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia, 35 km east of Bali. It is populated by Sasak people. The Lombok Strait separates it from Bali to the west and the Alas Strait between it and Sumbawa to the east. The island shadowed by its neighbour’s fame is blessed with epic surf, exquisite white-sand beaches, rice and tobacco field hiking trails, lush forested interior, and rich tropical allure.
