The translucent waters of the Bunaken oceans ensure you see all the exotic species hiding under the waters. There are thirteen types of coral reefs in this park. The most appealing perspective is the steep, vertical, slopy coral reef that plunges down to as low as 25-50 meters.

Treat your eyes to 91 types fish such as gusimi steed fish (Hippocampus), the white oci (Seriola rivoliana), yellow-tailed lolosi (Lutjanus kasmira), goropa (Ephinephelus spilotoceps and Pseudanthias hypselosoma), ila gasi (Scolopsis bilineatus) among others.

Divers get up-close and personal with mollusks such as the monster Kima (Tridacna gigas), goat head (Cassis cornuta) and nautilus (Nautilus pompillius)

For scuba diving afficianados, this is an incredible spot to be at. With around 20 diving spots to choose from, divers have the opportunity to swim close to the ocean bed, and appreciate all that the ocean has to offer.

Make a point to visit Bunaken between May and Augus. Exploring Bunaken Island is one-of-a-kind travel experience .
