Melbourne Food & Wine Festival

The annual Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, which was launched in 1993, is one of the most prominent events of Victoria. Presented by the Bank of Melbourne, it operates on a not-for-profit method. The festival flaunts Melbourne and Victoria’s food and wine culture, and promotes the produce, lifestyle and talent of Melbourne and Victoria. Additionally, it boosts Melbourne as the “food and wine capital of Australia”.

From rooftop bars and hidden cellars, to several dining spots, the event goes beyond just food and wine to create and set a hallmark for Victoria by exploring a plethora of dishes. It features sample award-winning varieties by local winemakers, blending harmoniously with the exceptional range of foods prepared by top chefs and restauranteurs. It also includes a line-up of international guests such as Dan Barber, Bill Granger, Ruth Rogers, Janice Wong and many more.

All in all, the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival is the ultimate event that puts Victoria on the food connoisseur’s map.
