SYDNEY Opera House will play host to the Experience Japan 2017 fair on the 2nd of August 2017. Held in conjunction with the Iron Chef All Stars charity dinner, the event will be showcasing the best of Japanese culture, produce, and arts, with performances, tasting stations, and traditional arts and crafts displays.
Highlighting the event will be five Japanese prefectures, Ehime, Okinawa, Tokushima, Nagano, and Niigata, who will be presenting visitors will each prefecture’s unique culture, wide selection of local delicacies, and mascots. Also present at Experience Japan 2017 will be Asian Inspirations, Kirin, Dassai, Kamikatsu, Shoda Shoyu, G’Day Japan, and more. In addition, in conjunction with the Iron Chef All Stars charity dinner, exclusive limited edition Iron Chef show bags will be available for eligible attendees.

Experience Japan 2017 will be held in conjunction with the Iron Chef All Stars charity dinner, which will feature the four original Iron Chefs – Rokusaburo Michiba, Hiroyuki Sakai, Kenichi Chen, and Masahiko Kobe – from the original FujiTV program. The four title chefs will be joined by Michelin 2-star chef, Kentaro Chen, and Asia’s Top Pastry Chef, Janice Wong, who will be treating 480 diners to a once-in-a-lifetime gastronomic experience. Standard tickets for the dinner will be priced at $495 a seat, with proceeds from the dinner going towards Opportunity International Australia.
