Great Finger Food for a Party
500g Pork Mince
3 Spring Onions, chopped,
3 Teaspoons finely grated Ginger
2 Tablespoons Water Chestnuts
1 Teaspoon Fish Sauce
2 Tablespoons finely chopped Coriander Stems
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce,
1Teaspoon Castor Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon White Pepper
1 Teaspoon Sesame Oil
Pickled Ginger ingredients
Large Knob of Ginger, thinly sliced
2 cups White Vinegar
2/3 cup White sugar
Soy Sauce and Red Chillies
Place all Dumpling Ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Put a tablespoon in the middle of the wonton wrapper, brush around with water and brings all of the points up to seal.
Deep fry in Peanut oil until browned.
To make pickled Ginger,
Place Ginger Slices in a bowl with some salt for 15 minutes. Meanwhile place vinegar and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Add ginger, simmer until a thick syrup forms.
For the dipping sauce add red chillies to soy sauce
