Taro Shoots

Taro Shoots is the edible young shoot of taro, a common name used for plants which fall under the family Araceae. A good source of calcium, vitamins A and C. It is available during summer in southern states, whereas in warmer areas, it is available all year round. Wash, peel, slice and add it to soups and stir-fries. Store it in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
