Chinese Turner (Metal Chan)

A Chinese Turner is an essential long-handled utensil used for keeping the food in motion over the heat during cooking. A Chinese spatula has a wide, slightly curved metal blade which can handle large amounts of food easily. This shovel-like tool makes cooking and scooping in a hot wok quick, easy, and efficient. The wooden tip prevents the spatula from getting too hot to handle. The contour and sloping sides fit well into the curved wok. It is best for scraping and tossing foods such as stir-fries.
